A brief description of the minimum total compensation provided to the institution’s lowest paid employee or pay grade:
A salary grade minimum for staff employees working at the university is 12.00/hour (lowest paid base wage). However in addition, a benefits package which generally is valued at 30% of the staff members salary brings that figure up to $15.60/hour. Full-time and part-time staff are eligible to elect from numerous benefit options including: medical, dental, vision, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability coverage and retirement plans. In addition tuition benefits, wellness incentives, parking discount, child care program discounts (temporary or short term support and referral), employee assistance program (confidential counselling and community resources) discounts at various local establishments, Greater Circle Living program (financial benefits related to local housing) are also available on top of the above figure.
