The Climate Action Plan (CAP) calls for the creation of the Office for Sustainability and to create a behavior change campaign and educational programs the engage the broad campus community in sustainability footprint reduction initiatives.

The CAP calls for the University to reach climate neutrality through 9 investments with targeted emissions reductions, including energy efficiency, transportation mode shift, and renewable energy. Energy intensity is also addressed in the Master Plan which calls for no new net square footage additions on campus.
