A brief description of the institution’s program to support employee volunteering:
The CCC Hastings employees were encouraged to volunteer during work hours and can be awarded prizes at monthly meetings. Some of the volunteer events include storm cleanup from downed trees and branches on campus. Other volunteer events include tree planting days as well as pollinator garden planting. Also the Hastings campus participated in volunteer events at a nursing home. There are other volunteer opportunities at the Nebraska State Fair and many community events in which Central CC volunteers.
