The Assistant Vice President of Diversity, Community and Inclusion serves as the College's Bias Response Coordinator. Bias reports are evaluated through a triage process as received through our on-campus reporting system. Community members who report a bias related incident are invited to meet with the Assistant Vice President, or anther member of the Bias Response Team, to determine next steps in the process. Reporters are also offered assistance and support by a variety of offices and services available to students, faculty and staff including, Counseling, Health Services, Campus Public Safety, Employee Assistance Program, etc. *************** How to report a Bias Incident or Hate Crime If anyone is injured or in danger, call 911, and notify the Office of Campus Public Safety at (802) 865-6465. If no one is injured or in danger, contact the Office of Campus Public Safety at (802) 865-6465. For students - C.A.R.E — Champlain's Achievement, Retention and Excellence — is designed to help students succeed and thrive. To help these students, Champlain College started the Single Parents Program. The program provides extra support for single-parent students.
