The Associated Colleges Sustainability Day Planning Committee, of which Clarkson is a primary partner, invites proposals for curriculum development grants to encourage the integration of Sustainability Day into one or more spring semester courses. This could take a variety of forms. Sustainability Day in an annual event aimed at building a culture of sustainability across the four colleges AND the whole North Country. It includes an inspiring keynote speaker, breakout sessions and workshops as well as a poster session and Sustainability Fair, providing myriad ways in which students might become involved.
A brief description of the incentives that faculty members who participate in the program(s) receive:
These modest grants ($300) are a direct stipend intended to provide faculty with an opportunity to devote time to planning methods for incorporating UN SDGs into one or more of their classes. In addition, proposals requesting material costs up to $150 were funded.
Two grants from Clarkson faculty were funded in S19 semester
