A brief description of the institution's green laboratory program:
We have been working closely with our Environmental Health and Safety department on our Green Labs program. We have created and distributed a "Green Labs Guide" for our lab users. We have integrated sustainability training into the safety training that all new lab users are required to take. Hoods have "shut the sash" stickers. Emails were sent to all lab managers with information about the Green Labs program and a link to a video of a faculty member explaining the benefits of Shutting the Sash.
