It is assumed that ALL of the residential students walk or bike to class. Of the remaining students, commuting was estimated by required commuter parking spaces and the balance assumed to carpool or take the campus shuttle to the village

Survey sent electronically to all employees that included questions related to RT travel distance, # months/year and times per week that they commute, average MPG and # trips that they walk, bike, bus or carpool. The 17% non-single driver trips from that survey was used for the current commuting estimate
