Center for Sustainable Development Climate Manager and Zero Waste Coordinator Darcy Everett and her team routinely host staff trainings called Zero Waste 101, where individuals can learn more about what is recyclable, how to achieve zero waste and how to reduce waste on campus.

The Center for Sustainable Development at the College of Charleston regularly funds staff participation in external professional development and training opportunities, including the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education's annual conference, summits hosted by Second Nature and trainings by the Climate Reality Project.
