Employees are encouraged to serve the institution by joining in any number of committees: personnel committee, Campus Committee for Sustainability, hiring committees, Academic Affairs Committee, Internship Committee, etc. Employees are compensated for time spent in service to the institution.

Note: the college requires 40 hours of documented community service for graduation. Our office of internships and career services tracks and reports these hours only for the students graduating in any given year. So while all students are participating in community service, students are only asked to document 40 hours total, and only in their final year at the college. The 3200 hours listed above are those documented for the 80 students who graduated in 2017-18.
