This year, the Office of Sustainability is introducing Sustainability Scholars, an ongoing incentive program to expand sustainability curriculum offerings at CC. The program will commence in May 2014 with a faculty development workshop entitled Sustainability Across Curriculum. The workshop will focus on broad sustainability ands systems thinking that can be used to incorporate sustainability principles widely into all disciplines. Participants will be committed to re-designing a course using sustainability learning objectives within 12 months of the workshop date to be eligible for stipend.

A brief description of the incentives that faculty members who participate in the program(s) receive:
A $500 stipend will be paid to participating faculty upon completion of the Sustainability Across Curriculum workshop, with an additional $500 paid within twelve months of the workshop upon approval of a course redesign that includes sustainability learning outcomes
