In new employee orientation, the Sustainability Manager has a dedicated section of twenty minutes to discuss sustainability at Colorado College. New employees are acquainted to CC's definition of sustainability, the AASHE STARS report, and their role within the sustainability community, as every member of the CC community has a responsibility to sustainability.

Sustainability was newly implemented as a permanent section of new employee orientation in March of 2015.
