Does the institution host a food bank, pantry, or equivalent resource focused on alleviating food insecurity, hunger and poverty among students?:
Yes
A brief description of the food bank, pantry, or equivalent resource:
The CC Pantry is a space led by Campus Activities and provides free food and supplies for students who are struggling financially or facing food insecurity on campus. This space is a welcoming and stigma-free environment for students. In order to sustain the pantry and meet the needs of the campus community, students are asked to take only what they need. Additionally, the CC Pantry encourages folks to bring their own reusable bag to place CC Pantry items in.
The CC Pantry serves ~50-70 students every week. The program is open every week including breaks to alleviate food insecurity felt by students at CC.
