Part 1. Health and safety management system

Does the institution have an occupational health and safety management system (OHSMS)?:

No

The nationally or internationally recognized OHSMS standard or guideline used:
---

If no, provide:

A brief description of the key components of the custom OHSMS:

The college does not have a formal OHSMS. As a public entity in the state of Colorado we are OSHA-exempt, although we certainly strive to comply with the spirit of OSHA regs as they apply to specific job activities.

Part 2. Incidents per FTE employee

Annual number of recordable incidents of work-related injury or ill health:
17

Full-time equivalent of employees:
627

If the institution wishes to report on other on-site workers, provide:

Full-time equivalent of workers who are not employees, but whose work and/or workplace is controlled by the institution:
---

A brief description of the methodology used to track and calculate the number of recordable incidents of work-related injury or ill health :

The CMC Risk Manager tracks wokr related injuries. We typically report to our work comp carrier any injury that is reported to CMC Risk Management even if no medical treatment was required. Approximately one third to one half of our work comp claims are $0 “notice only” where the employee did not seek medical care, and so these would likely not be reportable on an OSHA 300 log.

We select the data from 2022- 2023 since it is from the same year as the Pre-5 enrollment data.

Annual number of recordable incidents of work-related injury or ill health per 100 FTE employees:
2.71
