Optional Fields
The Sustainability Coordinator is researching grants for electric vehicles and golf carts for the campus fleet. Some departments do use electric bikes on campus instead of vehicles because they are easier to park. We are installing 4 additional electric vehicle charging stations which could help with bringing several electric vehicles into the fleet. We do have an electric van and an 100% electric car that is used by parking services to check parking passes and such. In summer 2021, we are implementing a pilot project using 9 100% electric shuttle buses for moving students and staff around the campus. The shuttles became operational on campus in July 2021.
