A brief description of how the assessment was developed:
CSU has two different assessment surveys on sustainability. The Student Sustainability Center, as part of a larger
campaign to expand coordinated sustainability on campus, issues a campus wide survey evaluating attitudes and
knowledge about sustainability.
The EcoLeaders student educational group also takes an Eco Literacy survey at the beginning of their time and at the end of their service to follow up on how their knowledge has changed as they work to educate their peers.

The Student Sustainability Center assessment was administered electronically. The Eco Leaders survey was administered by staff from Housing and Dining.

Results from the survey indicated that students on CSU's campus have a variety of interests levels and previous knowledge about sustainability.
