Does the institution have a sustainability office?:
Yes
None
A brief description of the sustainability office:
For the last several years, the Office for Energy and the Environment unified diverse sustainability activities and groups on campus. The main focus was to further define CSU's activities in Sustainability, Energy, and the Environment. It acted as a link between student and faculty groups and the administration, as well as generating dynamic partnerships with other universities.
The Office is currently under transition and CSU expects to move to a decentralized model of Sustainability Coordination based on currently staffed positions dedicated to Sustainability in: Alternative transportation, Housing and Dining Services, Facilities, and the School or Global Environmental Sustainability.
As the transition continues, central coordination of sustainability will be managed through the Director's Office in the School or Global Environmental Sustainability. http://sustainability.colostate.edu/about/leadership
