A brief description of the cultural competence trainings and activities:
Colorado State University strives to create and maintain a work and student environment that is fair, humane, and respectful so that each member of the University community is treated with dignity and rewarded for such relevant considerations as ability and performance. The University is committed to preventing, correcting and disciplining incidents of unlawful sexual harassment and/or discrimination. CSU's policy applies to all persons affiliated with the University, including its students and employees. Colorado State University is offering a new way for employees to learn about sexual harassment prevention. Any member of the Colorado State University community now can take an online tutorial where users can read the definitions of sexual harassment, the federal law and CSU campus policy, and work through various scenarios. A confidential test component at the end of the training also allows users to see how well they understand these concepts. Since it is located on the web, accessibility is 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Examples of Sessions: * Disability Awareness * Diversity Equity and Human Dignity * Equity in the Workplace * Search Chair Training * Sexual Harassment
