A brief description of the institution’s Fair Trade initiatives, including the year formal designation was achieved and/or renewed:
In May 2016, CSU became the first institution in the state of Colorado to be designated a Fair Trade University. Fair Trade coffee and chocolate have been served and have been available for purchase on campus for many years. As part of this Fair Trade designation, the Green Warrior Campaign purchases several hundred Fair Trade certified t-shirts each Fall and has continued to do so every year since 2016.
