CSU is a member of the Fair Labor Association and in 2016, CSU became the first institution in Colorado to become Fair Trade Certified. This certification began with a student campaign that led to ASCSU, the student government, passing a Fair Trade Resolution which was endorsed by the President's Sustainability Commission and has been formally adopted by CSU in the Environmentally and Socially Responsible Procurement Policy (http://policylibrary.colostate.edu/policy.aspx?id=513) on campus.

CSU's required Manufacturer Code of Conduct for licensees, which follows FLA standards, may be found here: https://licensing.colostate.edu/
