A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation:
The new orientation for Concordia students, hosted by the Concordia Student Union with the financial support of the university, included sustainability as one of its main components.
This was demonstrated through: A waste management team, with identifying t-shirts; giving students free sustainable mugs & tupperware; the hosting for a Sustainable Food Festival; sustainability contracts for clubs attending the Many Tastes of Concordia festival; lectures on sustainability; and a corporate sponsorship policy.
