The Quebec Ministry of Education (MELS) has posted the energy use and costs of all Quebec universities for fiscal year 2010-2011 ((http://www.mels.gouv.qc.ca/ens-sup/ens-univ/EnerUniv.asp )
Based on this data, Concordia University is the leader amongst Quebec universities in terms of energy consumption (intensity) at 1.10 GJ/m2. The average consumption for the 20 Quebec universities is 1.40GJ/m2. Concordia is also 14% more energy efficient than its closest competitor, L'Université de Sherbrooke (1.28 GJ/m2).
