A brief description of the program:
Facilities Management operates an office supplies exchange program that deals with office furniture such as desks, cabinets, and chairs. Offices will contact the program coordinator directly when they have an item to be removed that is in working condition or the distribution and custodial departments will contact the coordinator when they receive furniture disposed of that is still in good condition. The program coordinator manages the furniture, which are stored in rooms on both campuses. There are currently no permanent locations for storage—the rooms change as space is required for new projects. Requests for furniture are made either directly to the program coordinator or to the distribution department, who forward requests to the coordinator.
