Students, staff and faculty volunteers apply to serve as educators with the Sustainable Ambassadors Program coordinator.

A brief description of the formal training that the employee educators receive (1st program):
Educators are provided with a training program that involves manuals, slides and tests. These educators conduct a one-hour workshop, thrice annually, for new hires at the university. Using the slideshows, tests and discussion they go over the three tenants of sustainability with employees. A checklist is presented to office managers to ensure that computers are turned off at night, lights are turned off, and recycling facilities are maintained.
