A brief description of the metering system:
All buildings that are supplied with electric, steam, and/or chilled water are metered. Over 100 of these buildings on central campus have real time metering for electric, steam and chilled water. Cornell's newest LEED Platinum Human Ecology Building is piloting a custom built, real-time building dashboard, that was developed in partnership with faculty and students. The dashboard is currently be utilized as a teaching tool. 50 additional building dashboards will be added during 2013.
