In 2011 survey of employees included flex work questions. Of 593 respondents, 40.6% indicated they have benefited from arrangements for consistently flexible work hours, and 3.2 % indicated they have used the condensed work week option.

In a Wellness Survey conducted in April/May of 2013, cornell employees were asked what types of flexible work arrangement were they able to use. Of the 757 respondents, 11.2% (31) of hourly staff, 6.9% (28) of salaried staff, and 9.3% (7) of faculty indicated that they were able to use a compressed work arrangement (i.e. working 10 hours, 4 days per week).
