Cornell University has a commitment to pursue LEED certification (Silver level minimum) for all new buildings and renovation projects exceeding $5M in value. Every project has a goal of 75% waste diversion with a minimum of 50%. As such Cornell University has a commitment to meet LEED Materials and Resources credit guidelines.
