A brief description of the bicycle sharing program:
In 2018, Dallas College piloted a bicycle sharing program in partnership with Spin Bikes to offer affordable transportation options. 45 bicycles were dispersed to at Brookhaven, Mountain View and North Lake campuses to trial student and community usage. Spin Bikes discontinued business in Texas, as did many other bike-share companies, and the program has not been revisited.
Importantly, Dallas College supports public bicycle infrastructure at all campuses by providing bicycle racks. Dallas College North Lake Campus hosts the annual City of Irving Bike Fest, a community-wide event to increase awareness of bicycle safety and encourage bicycle ridership. The event has many community organizations including bike shops that allow attendees to test drive different bicycles. Attendees can also participate in safety bicycle rides and learn from local expert mechanics how to tune-up and repair their bicycle.

After Dallas College's transition from 7 independently accredited colleges to one college in June 2020, employees in specific departments are allowed to office at the campus or location they live closest to in order to enhance work-life balance, reduce commuting, and enhance productivity and space utilization.

DART Go Pass Program provides eligible students a free transit pass that can be renewed every fall, spring or summer semesters when student meet the minimum enrollment requirements.
