The Dallas College Foundation mission is to provide student scholarships, support educational programs and work with partner organizations to help remove barriers for students. The Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors charged with fulfilling the mission and overseeing strategic fundraising and investment that upholds sustainability values of social responsibility to the community and the environment.

The Dallas College Foundation summarized its activities in the 2019 Annual Report (https://www.foundation.dcccd.edu/2019-annual-report). Responsible investment actions led to new programs to remove barriers to student success. Some of the programs include the Dallas County Promise, Emergency Aid Fund, Career Connected Learner Network, free public transit DART GoPass for students, Food Pantries on all campuses.
