"Guided by the Congregation of the Holy Spirit and its members in over 79 countries, and consistent with our Catholic tradition, our commitment to inclusive excellence encompasses every aspect of personhood - including age, citizenship, disability, ethnicity, gender, race, religion, and sexual orientation."
Duquesne University also has a Director for Anti-Discrimination Policies & Compliance as well a Title IX Coordinator who work to: "...provide an educational, employment, and business environment free of all forms of sex discrimination, including rape, domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, and other prohibited acts."

1. The Diversity and Inclusion Fair which was an opportunity for community members to engage and be inspired by what is offered for our students, faculty and staff. We want all who work and study at Duquesne to know that their contributions matter, and that they will be supported in achieving their full potential. Building an environment of inclusion is stitched into the fabric of our mission, and integrated into our shared Spiritan values.
2. Understanding Implicit Bias Training which is led by a team of trainers, who focus on the science of bias and help participants recognize and understand their own biases through the use of lecture, video analysis, and group discussion.
