The Center for Excellence in Diversity and Student Inclusion helps by providing support services and opportunities for learning. The Center coordinates community-wide events and programs to celebrate, acknowledge campus leaders and raise awareness about critical issues.

Duquesne University also has a Director for Anti-Discrimination Policies & Compliance as well a Title IX Coordinator who work to: "...provide an educational, employment, and business environment free of all forms of sex discrimination, including rape, domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, and other prohibited acts."

1. Cultural Heritage Month Celebrations - To celebrate our diversity, the Center for Excellence in Diversity and Student Inclusion joins student organizations, University partners, and community partners to observe and honor different cultures with a wide range of heritage month celebrations.
2. Understanding Implicit Bias Training is led by a team of trainers, who focus on the science of bias and help participants recognize and understand their own biases through the use of lecture, video analysis, and group discussion.
3. Spirit of Diversity Event - Each year, Duquesne University hosts a dynamic leader that speaks to multicultural issues and inspires our students and community members. Faculty, staff, students and members of the greater Pittsburgh community are invited to celebrate Duquesne students involved with the Office of Diversity and Inclusion and learn from leading thinkers on issues affecting our community.
