Duquesne University offers test-optional admission to reduce the costs for low-income students. Applicants do not need to take the SAT or ACT, which have associated fees and do not fairly predict the academic preparedness of all students, to apply to Duquesne University.

Duquesne University and the YMCA Duquesne University Child Development Center offers child care for children 6 weeks to 5 years of age. This service is available to all members of the Duquesne community; faculty, staff, and students. Financial assistance is available to those in need.
