1st program
The DC Student Green Team
A brief description of the student educators program (1st program):
As an extension of the Living Green platform at Durham College, the Green Team exists to provide students with the opportunity to contribute towards the development of creative ideas and solutions aimed at advancing campus sustainability initiatives. The Green Team works with Durham College’s Sustainability Office to develop goals, raise awareness and participate in sustainability events and projects. Volunteers are eligible for co-curricular recognition and play an active role in transforming the college. Green Team members are actively involved in campus-wide outreach campaigns and peer-to-peer student engagement throughout the year.
