A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation (including how multiple dimensions of sustainability are addressed):
SustainECU staff as well as officers of the ECO Pirates student group hosted a table at 8 out of 10 Orientation Involvement Fairs for incoming First-year students and Transfer students. In addition, we hosted a table at a similar event for Entering graduate students. Not only did we collect contact information from hundreds of students for various purposes, we also discussed campus sustainability initiatives, volunteer and service-learning opportunities and general tips and events regarding sustainable living.
