A brief description of the sustainability-focused immersive program(s) offered by the institution:
Starting in Summer 2019, we began tracking and promoting sustainability-focused and sustainability-inclusive study abroad opportunities. Each of the following experiences for summer 2019 filled up and the trips did take place:
1. Dominican Republic: Teaching Human Impact in Tropical Ecosystems with Mrs. Glass & Dr. Lee
2. South Korea: Sustainable Urbanism with Dr. Hur
3. Costa Rica: Communication, Environment, and Gender with Dr. Elmore & Ms. Presson
4. Ireland: Sustainable Tourism and Hospitality with Dr. O’Halloran & Dr. Deale
5. Caribbean Islands: Sustainability at the Interface of Human and Natural Systems with Dr. Moysey & Dr. Mallinson
6. South Africa: Environmental Economics and Tourism with Dr. Tabakova
