GREEN STORMWATER INFRASTRUCTURE SIGNAGE:
- Rain Garden located outside Umstead Hall on 10th Street
- Rain Garden located behind the Belk Building off Charles Blvd
- Feed A Bee Habitats installed in the back of the Belk Complex and funded through a grant awarded to Biology Graduate Student and Professor
- Constructed Wetland located in the back of the Belk Complex.
- Beehive Installation with signage located near Lake Laupus on Health Sciences Campus
GREEN BUILDING SIGNAGE:
Croatan Dining Hall has been awarded LEED Silver Certification from the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).
Ross Hall (School of Dental Medicine) has been awarded LEED Silver Certification from the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).
Coastal Studies Institute has been awarded LEED Gold Certification from the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) in December 2012.
Belk Residence Hall was demolished and replaced with the Gateway Residence Halls, which were designed to achieve LEED Silver Certification from the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) in July 2015.
Health Science Campus Student Services Building was designed to LEED Silver Certification standards and opened in July 2017.
Main Campus Student Center and Parking Garage was been designed to LEED Silver Certification standards and opened in January 2019.

SustainECU maintains a continuously evolving Google Map that highlights sustainability features on ECU's campus, such as: Energy Projects, Campus Grounds, Waste Reduction, Green Buildings, Bottle Refill Stations, Alternative Transportation, Materials Management, Sustainable Dining, and Environmentally Related Departments.

A brief description of the guide for green living and/or incorporating sustainability into the residential experience:
SustainECU hosts an information table at all of the summer orientation involvement fairs. At this table, we offer a "Green Room Shopping List" for incoming freshman (see link below). During the fair, the Sustainability Manager talks with incoming freshman and their family members about items that they can add to their dorm room shopping list that will help them reduce environmental impacts while living on campus. In addition, we talk about other opportunities for students to get involved with campus sustainability efforts.
