ECU was selected for a grant from Duke Energy to install two Level 2 EV charging stations on the Main Campus as well as one on the Health Sciences Campus in early 2017. In addition, ECU Transit has been replacing diesel powered buses with CNG powered buses as the older ones reach the end of their useful life.
