A brief description of the method(s) used to gather data about student commuting:
In order to collect the necessary data to study the commuting habits of ÉTS employees and students and thus calculate their impact on GHG emissions, a survey was conducted during the fall semester of 2020. After validation by the Ethics Committee, the survey was officially posted online and shared by email with all school employees on Monday, October 26, 2020. The period for responding was one week, which was until Sunday, November 1. Respondents were surveyed about their transportation habits before and during the pandemic. For the sake of accuracy and representativeness, the data presented here are for transportation used before the pandemic.
