Elon does not currently have an institutional repository. However, selected university and faculty created materials, such as reports, book chapters and articles are curated in Belk Library's digital collections platform through the University Archives website.

Individual members of the teaching faculty may apply to their Chair and Dean for ad hoc APC funds. Belk Library pursues Read & Publish deals with journal vendors to encourage OA publishing. Elon researchers can publish articles open access (at no cost) with Cambridge University Press and Wiley Journals. https://www.elon.edu/u/news/2022/02/04/belk-library-to-provide-elon-researchers-with-open-access-publishing-options/
