A brief description of the policies and/or guidelines to improve outdoor air quality and minimize air pollutant emissions from mobile sources:
We follow Massachusetts and US EPA clean air policies. Our mobile fleet consists of one facilities truck and 4 Athletics Department operated vehicles. All vehicles are approved under the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV) and the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), and have undergone a safety inspection and a smog and emission test. Each of our vehicles is in acceptable driving condition, does not pose a threat to other motorists, and is doing the least amount of environmental harm.
Part 2

Weight of the following categories of air emissions from stationary sources::
Weight of Emissions | |
Nitrogen oxides (NOx) | 727 Tons |
Sulfur oxides (SOx) | 7.90 Tons |
Carbon monoxide (CO) | 316 Tons |
Particulate matter (PM) | 55 Tons |
Ozone (O3) | 0 Tons |
Lead (Pb) | 0 Tons |
Hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) | 0 Tons |
Ozone-depleting compounds (ODCs) | 0 Tons |
Other standard categories of air emissions identified in permits and/or regulations | 0 Tons |

A brief description of the methodology(ies) the institution used to complete its air emissions inventory:
Sightlines, our benchmarking contractor, provides us with MMbtus of our Scope 1 natural gas consumption and I calculated the air pollutants associated with this quantity (15,798.9 MMbtu for FY2016). We have two boilers that run entirely off of natural gas.
I do not have quantities for refrigerants to calculate additional pollutants, but Sightlines reports that 130 metric tonnes of CO2 are associated with the usage of refrigerants on our campus.
