A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory:
A Qualtrics survey was distributed to all faculty and included a description of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and a link to learn more. Faculty were asked if they have conducted any research within the last 3 years. If yes, they were asked to provide their name and department. Then, they were asked to "Think about the entire body of research and scholarship you engaged in over the last three years. Indicate the overall level of alignment with each SDG below. Please select all that apply (your work may have more than one primary focus)."
Faculty that indicated a primary or secondary focus on any of the 17 SDGs were considered to conduct sustainability-related research. Faculty that did not respond to the survey or did not complete the survey were considered to NOT conduct sustainability-related research.
