Furman University Paladins on Bikes (FUPOB) is a semester-long, very affordable bike rental program open to all students. The campus Physical Activity Center (PAC) also offers daily free bike sharing.

A yearly bike commuter challenge encourages staff and faculty to commute by bike for as many days as possible during the month of April.
Furman also participated in Greenlink's bike/bus/car race, highlighting various modes of transportation and supporting lower carbon-modes such as biking on the local greenway, participating in a ride-share, or using the city's bus system.
