George Mason University (Mason) has several small solar photovoltaic installations on campus and is working to develop more in the future. Mason has an innovative zero-carbon mobile art exhibition gallery and community space with a 130 watt solar panel; two solar powered trash compactors each having a 208 watt solar panel attached; two solar powered fleet vehicles each powered by 187 watt solar panels; a 285 watt solar powered outdoor picnic table; and a 795 watt solar powered outdoor collaborative space.
