APC fund
Yes
A brief description of the open access APC fund:
We have shifted our OA funding support to "read and publish" agreements negotiated between publishers and the Virtual Library of Virginia (VIVA). The majority of these agreements eliminate 100% of the APC for Mason authors. Some offer discounts. By virtue of these agreements, we are able to provide APC relief for a much greater number of authors than our OA Publishing Fund was able to support. Details on the VIVA provided agreements are here: https://vivalib.org/va/open/apc
Open access journal hosting
Yes
A brief description of the open access journal hosting services:
Mason offers advice and support for university departments, centers and units interested in producing online, open-access journals. We currently use the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, hosted on library servers.
