EPA Lifetime Achievement Award Winner, Top Five Most Influential Renewal Energy person according to Power Finance and Risk Magazine was founder of the national's first University Center of Excellence in Photovoltaics, 1992 and founder and CTO for Suniva solar panel manufacturer, Dr Ajeet Rohatgi is at Georgia Tech. He has consulted to the 40 largest solar pv manufacturers in the world and set 15 world records in solar cells.
A graduate of Georgia Tech's business incubator, Suniva was named #2 on the WSJ clean tech list. 86 kw of Suniva cells are on our campus' sustainability showcase roof, the Undergraduate Commons Building, home of all freshman math and science classes.
