A brief description of the program:
Gettysburg College operates a year round shuttle system for students to travel to mass transit sites as well as opportunities for day trips to Washington DC. These services are all offered at reduced rates to encourage shuttle travel. This program is subsidized by the College.

Gettysburg contracts with the Freedom Transit bus company to provide transport for students. The trolley is free with a student ID. The Freedom Transit makes frequent stops to movie theaters, restaurants, shopping areas, and medical facilities.
