A brief description of the program, policy, or practice:
The Gettysburg College Allies House provides a safe environment for those who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, or questioning to be themselves. The goal for the Allies House and Club is to inform the campus and surrounding community about the gay community and make Gettysburg a place of acceptance. The students and allies in the house and club organize a number of events on campus throughout the year to raise awareness about discrimination and the struggle for gay rights here and around the world.
