The Food Forest on Brandon campus, Butterfly Garden on Ybor campus, Florida Natives garden on South Shore campus, Tower Gardens at Dale Mabry campus are wonderful parts of HCC. These projects have been led by passionate faculty, staff, and students dedicated to sustainability and giving back.

Last spring, the Office of Sustainability held a Beyond Sustainability Expo where local clubs, organizations, and vendors were invited to provide information to students and other members of the Tampa community. There were speakers, tiny homes to walk through, and more.

The Office of Sustainability offers paid internship opportunities every Spring and Fall semesters. The person writing this is an intern! The internship is amazing, rewarding and life-changing with so many resources and an incredible Sustainability Coordinator!
