A brief description of the program, policy, or practice:
Iowa State University offers gender neutral housing in the Schilletter-University Village on-campus apartment community. There, residents can choose to live with anyone, regardless of gender. In the residence halls, ISU has a limited number of single rooms with attached, private bathrooms that the Department of Residence identifies as gender neutral options. All other on-campus apartments and residence hall rooms are single gender.
