Karma Free – This is a student group whose mission is to raise awareness among the student community through talks and activities about plant-based food options and their positive impact on the environment and health.


 


Hype Birds – This student group engages in science and technology activities aimed at creating an environmental impact. Their activities include collecting electronic components, vapes, cell phones, batteries, and other products that can be reused in technology.


 


SUMMA TERRA – This student group aims to educate new generations about the impact of our daily actions on the environment and climate change by creating workshops and talks on resource use, recycling, waste separation, and everyday tasks that can collectively make a difference.


 


Ruta Azul – This is an institutional strategy linked to the student community that seeks to make ecological progress and impact within the various campuses. It focuses on waste reduction, water conservation, environmental and climate awareness, etc. This project aims to create national strategies and guidelines to ensure student projects and activities are environmentally responsible and impactful.


 


IDeaS – There is a growing need to develop sustainable solutions in engineering to address environmental challenges. This initiative aims to impact a large number of engineering students, promoting a shift in mindset and practices towards sustainability.

The events are hold under the institution "Sustainable Culture". The Global Institute for Sustainability seeks to preserve our natural capital to promote public policies and inclusive edge and active participation in society. Therefore, the Institute creates opportunities for dialogue involving all stakeholders to create business solutions and promoting green markets. Under this sustainable culture, ITESM also manages projects such as the "sustainable campus" project in charge of Omar Rojas. The student association group IDeaS also holds events often in the campus related to sustainable development.
