A brief description of the institution’s methodology for evaluating employee satisfaction:
Ithaca College participated in the 2010 Chronicle of Higher Education's "Great Colleges to Work For" survey. However, the College disputed the omission of non-exempt or part-time staff from the survey; only full-time employees were randomly selected across three categories: administration, faculty, and exempt professional staff to participate in the survey. Despite the flawed methodology of the survey pool, the College administration is taking steps to address elements in which it did not score as highly.
